Ginny Gillanders
Co-Director of Hospitality
Ginny Gillanders is a new resident (May 2025) of the Port Ludlow community, most recently residing in Ashland, OR for 9 years and prior to that, the SF Bay area for many years.
Ginny has a history of participation in music, primarily singing and dance, but some instrumental, including choral groups of multiple sizes, and was frequently selected for solos in her teens and 20s. Recently, she participated in a pop music singing group in Ashland OR lead by renowned music arranger and director Kirby Shaw. She has a life-long love of music of all kinds, and attends performances every chance she gets.
She is a trained occupational therapist (retired) and yoga instructor, currently teaching yoga at the PL Bay Club weekly. She enjoys exercising at the Club, taking walks, cooking, singing with the PL Singers, and participating in assorted volunteer activities. Ginny resides with her husband Ross and one beloved dog. Her adult children and mother reside in the Greater Portland area.
Ginny looks forward to bringing music to the Port Ludlow (and beyond) community through participation in PLPA. She is pleased there is a focus on the greater community through music-related contributions at Chimacum High School.
