Please Join PLPA in Supporting the Chimacum Cowboys High School Band!

The Chimacum Cowboys High School Band has been chosen  to represent the State of Washington in

America's National Independence Day parade in Washington, DC on July 4, 2026

commemorating the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence!

This is a major honor and a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for these band students and Band Director Daniel Ferland, acknowledging the efforts and achievements they have recently accomplished, including "Best Marching Band in the Loyalty Days Parade Sweepstakes at Long Beach, Washington.

PLPA is pleased to support the band's fundraising efforts for this trip through contributions from our Martha Dawson fund as well as sponsoring a special concert at the Bay Club in Port Ludlow on February 20, 2026. Keep any eye out for the details which will be announced when finalized.

Contributions to this fund may be made by clicking on Martha's Education fund on this website and by adding a note the donation is for the Chimacum Band.
